Why we built Flow

Highlights:

  • AI is making digital delivery harder to navigate, not easier — and most orgs lack a model for adopting it safely and at pace.
  • Old agency models (fixed-scope project or fixed retainer) don't fit a market where tools and search behaviour shift every few months.
  • Flow is All human's answer: a human-led, AI-powered team on a single monthly subscription, no lock-ins, outcome-driven.
  • It is based around three pillars: Flow Discover, Flow Experience and Flow Deliver

Delivering engaging digital experiences is getting harder.

This may seem an odd thing to claim, given the sophistication and innovation of emerging technologies, but I stand by it.

AI does offer incredible opportunities, and we’ve already seen how it can increase efficiencies and enable UXs that are truly impressive. But for teams and business leaders, it presents a significant challenge. Recently, I've been hearing from clients that they are struggling with AI - to figure out how to use it without the risk, how to move from pilot to live to scale, how to approach AI visibility and how to benefit from faster delivery and more capacity without creating further headaches and challenges.

And these are genuine concerns. And who takes ownership for each - is it marketing, ops, digital, or the leadership team? Sometimes determining who is responsible, or even best placed to manage the company’s strategy, is itself an issue.

Everyone can see that AI is changing how digital services get discovered, experienced, and built. Almost no one has a model for navigating that change safely, at pace, without betting the business on it.

Introducing Flow by All human

With 20+ years of experience helping organisations transform their digital operations, we’ve been there and understand that having a guide on these journeys is essential. But AI is disrupting the journey. Previously, when a brand wanted to get some digital work done, say a website upgrade or the development of a new app, there were two options: one, partner with an agency with a fixed scope and a start and end date; or two, engage an agency on a retainer with a fixed team and a fixed cost and prioritise the work against the business needs.

And that’s the way the market functioned, and it worked really well.

However, neither was designed for an AI world in which the tools, platforms, and the way people find and interact with your brand are shifting every few months.

So we asked ourselves: what would work better and ensure that we continue to be the guide, but in a way that allows us to change as fast as technology does and yet also doesn’t throw the proverbial baby out with the bath water? The technology is impressive, but we still need human expertise, and our clients benefit most when we give them the best of both worlds.

So, meet Flow, our new enterprise digital delivery model.

How does Flow work?

Flow is built around three connected capabilities: Flow Discover, Flow Experience and Flow Deliver.

Flow Discover

Historically, digital visibility meant ranking on Google. You built pages, earned links, and won search. And yes, that is still happening and is very important. However, to ignore that people are now searching and discovering in new ways is foolhardy. Increasingly, your audience is asking ChatGPT, Claude, or Google's AI overviews the same questions they type into a search box. Naturally, you want your brand mentioned here, and that’s where Flow Discover excels. We restructure your schema, content architecture, and visibility signals so your brand is the one AI systems find, cite, and recommend.

Flow Experience

I want to be very clear: this is not a chatbot. It’s so much more because customers now expect more. They don’t want to be fed useless information or, worse, spend time engaging with an agent only to be told they have to speak to a person. They want the same conversational directness from your website that they get from tools they use every day, like ChatGPT -  context-aware interaction that gets them to an answer or an action. Flow Experience brings together your site’s content, services, and functionality into one conversational layer, so when someone visits your brand online, they can engage and have a more robust interaction, even across complex or legacy digital estates, deployed safely and transparently.

Flow Deliver

In our business, one of the most significant changes AI is bringing is how it is resetting what it costs to design, build, and run digital services. There is definitely no longer any room for indecision or complacency: the organisations harnessing that shift are moving faster and spending less, the ones that don't are already falling behind. Flow Deliver can ensure this is not you. With our always-on, AI-assisted delivery capabilities across strategy, design, build, QA, and optimisation, this is an agency model built for today’s market needs.

Our client, Fáilte Ireland, is already enjoying the benefits of Flow Deliver. Across multiple digital delivery projects, we're seeing impressive metrics, including a 35% increase in design workflow automation, 47% more build tasks per sprint, 28% less admin and business analysis overhead and earlier detection of defects through the deployment of agentic-led QA.

This is a genuinely exciting moment for our industry. The combination of AI software and human judgement can deliver outcomes that neither could reach alone but only for the organisations with the right operating model to capture it. We built Flow to be that model.

If any of this sounds like where your organisation is right now, let's talk.
